Why Is My Logo Too Large in Emails?

Fix oversized logos in email headers by uploading your logo using the recommended dimensions and aspect ratio.

Your company logo is used throughout Hoops, including on SalesDocs, SalesPresentations, and email communications.

If the logo uploaded in Settings → My Organisation → Company Details does not match the recommended dimensions, it may appear oversized in the header of emails sent from Hoops.

Why Does This Happen?

Hoops displays your uploaded logo across a variety of documents and emails.

If the original image is significantly larger than the recommended size or has unusual proportions, it may not scale as expected in certain email clients, causing the logo to appear larger than intended.

This does not affect the functionality of your emails, but it can impact their appearance and branding.

How to Fix It

If your logo appears too large in email headers:

  1. Navigate to Settings → My Organisation.

  2. Open the Company Details section.

  3. Upload a new version of your logo that matches the recommended dimensions.

The Required Dimensions are:

Recommended: 300px x 200px, clear background .png

Maximum file size: 200MB

Using a logo that adheres to the recommended size will typically resolve display issues and ensure your branding appears consistently across emails and documents.

Best Practice

For the best results:

  • Use the recommended logo dimensions.

  • Upload a high-quality image with the correct aspect ratio.

  • Avoid uploading very large images and relying on automatic resizing.

Following these recommendations helps ensure your logo displays consistently throughout Hoops, including SalesDocs, customer emails, and other branded communications.
