Add Custom Products to SalesPresentations and SalesStores

Learn how to create custom one-off products in SalesPresentations and SalesStores. Configure pricing, variants, images, and customer-facing details without needing to add the product to your catalog first.

Not every product belongs in your catalog!

Sometimes you need to present a product that is unique to a specific opportunity, sourced from a supplier for a one-time project, or simply not worth maintaining as a permanent catalog item.

One-Off Products allow you to create and present these products directly within a SalesPresentation or SalesStore without first adding them to your catalog.

This is particularly useful when:

  • Building concept presentations for customers

  • Creating retail-style SalesStores

  • Quoting supplier products that are unlikely to be reused

  • Testing new products before adding them to your catalog

  • Presenting custom or special-order items

SalesPresentations and SalesStores share the same Product Detail interface, allowing you to configure pricing, variants, images, and customer-facing display settings while seeing exactly how the product will appear to your customer.

Step 1: Open the Product Detail Screen

Click the icon to begin adding a new product.

Product Information

Enter the product details including:

  • Product Name — The customer-facing name of the product.

  • Product Code (optional) — Useful for internal reference or supplier product codes.

  • Vendor (optional) — Use this if the product is being purchased from a supplier or fulfilled by a third-party vendor. If the vendor does not already exist, you can create a new vendor directly from this screen.

  • Product Description — Add any details or sales information you would like your customer to see.

The preview on the left updates live as information is entered, allowing you to see exactly how the product will appear to your customer.

Pricing Grid

Because One-Off Products are not connected to your catalog, all pricing is managed directly within the SalesPresentation or SalesStore.

By default, Hoops creates quantity breaks at 50, 100, and 500 units, giving you a starting point for volume-based pricing.

You can fully customize these quantity breaks to match your customer's requirements by adding, removing, or editing pricing columns as needed.

Buy Price

Because one-off products are not connected to your catalog, buy pricing must be entered manually.

For each quantity break, enter:

  • Buy price

  • Additional per-unit costs (if required)

From here you can configure:

These settings allow you to tailor the customer experience, whether you're creating a simple visual presentation, a retail-style SalesStore, or a fully priced product offering.
