Add Tracking Numbers in Hoops

Learn how to add tracking numbers to Jobs so customers and team members can monitor deliveries. Keep shipping information organized, improve visibility, and provide easy access to tracking details throughout the fulfillment process.

Hoops allows teams to store shipping and delivery information directly against a Job, helping keep all fulfillment details centralized and easy to access throughout the production and delivery process.

Adding tracking numbers to Jobs improves visibility for both internal teams and customers while making it easier to locate shipment information later if required.

Tracking information can also be used within automated shipping notification workflows to keep customers informed once their order has been dispatched.


Manage Shipping Information on Jobs

Shipping details are managed from the Shipping tab within the Job detail view.

Simply click on any Job Number while viewing your JobBoard, and the Job detail view will show. Then choose the Shipping tab.

From here, teams can add one or multiple tracking numbers depending on how the Job is being fulfilled.

Tracking entries include:

  • Shipping company or courier

  • Tracking number

  • Tracking URL or tracking link

Once saved, the tracking information remains attached to the Job for future reference.

Support Multiple Shipments

Hoops also supports multiple tracking numbers against the same Job, just click on Add New Tracking Number again to add another entry.

Each tracking entry is stored separately, helping teams maintain clear visibility across all deliveries related to the Job.


Automated Shipping Notifications

Once tracking information has been added, teams can send shipping notifications directly to customers using the built-in notification tools.

Tracking numbers and shipping details can also be included within automated customer communication workflows, helping customers stay informed throughout the delivery process.

⚠️ Important:

If your Job is being delivered in multiple shipments, it's important to note that when a shipping notification email is sent, the {{job.trackingNumbers}} is designed to insert the entire array of tracking numbers, not isolate only a single tracking number.
