Create Tasks Within SalesDocs and Jobs

Tasks can be created directly from the Tasks tab inside a SalesDoc or Job.

When a Task is created from within a SalesDoc or Job, Hoops automatically associates the Task with that specific record, helping maintain context and workflow visibility.

This ensures all related communication, files, operational updates, and follow-up actions remain connected to the correct quote or production Job.


Assign Workflow Responsibilities

Tasks can be assigned to any Hoops user along with important workflow details such as:

  • Due dates

  • Instructions or notes

  • Priority actions

  • Related workflow responsibilities

This helps teams clearly define ownership and accountability across Sales, Production, Purchasing, Artwork, and Fulfillment workflows.

Tasks can also be updated throughout the workflow as progress is made, helping teams maintain visibility into outstanding work and completed actions.


Automatic User Notifications

When a Task is assigned, Hoops automatically sends an email notification to the assigned user.

Assigned users can then update the Task status as work progresses or once the Task has been completed.
