Hoops allows teams to manage Task ownership and progress centrally through the Task List, helping ensure responsibilities remain clear and work continues moving efficiently across departments.
By updating Task statuses and reassigning ownership when required, teams can maintain visibility into outstanding work, improve accountability, and keep workflows aligned as Jobs progress through production.
Manage Tasks Across Hoops
Tasks can be managed centrally from the Task List accessible from the left-hand navigation menu.
The Task List provides visibility into:
Current Task status
Assigned users
Due dates
Related Customers, SalesDocs, or Jobs
Outstanding work across teams
Tasks can also be managed directly from the associated:
Customer Card
SalesDoc
Job Card
This allows teams to update and manage Tasks within the workflow they are actively working on without needing to leave the record.
Update Task Status
Task statuses can be updated directly from the Task List or from within the individual
Task itself.
Updating statuses helps teams track progress as work moves through different stages such as:
Pending
In Progress
Waiting Approval
Complete
Maintaining accurate Task statuses improves visibility across teams and helps reduce missed or overdue work.
Reassign Task Ownership
Tasks can also be reassigned to different Hoops users as responsibilities change throughout the workflow.
This is especially useful when:
Work moves between departments
Additional action is required from another team member
Responsibilities change during production
Tasks need escalation or follow-up
Keeping Task ownership updated helps ensure the correct team members remain accountable for the next stage of work.
Save and Maintain Workflow Visibility
Once changes are made, updated statuses and ownership details are saved back to the Task automatically through the edit workflow.
By actively managing Task ownership and progress within Hoops, businesses can create more transparent, organized, and efficient operational workflows across Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Fulfillment teams.
