When running a SalesStore or merchandise program, it is important to be able to quickly view all of the orders that the SalesStore has created.
This becomes especially important when:
Running multiple merchandise programs at the same time
Managing multiple team stores
Tracking online orders separately from normal SalesDocs
Reviewing completed customer orders
There are two common ways to filter and view SalesStore orders within your SalesBoard.
Method 1: Filter by SalesDoc Template
When configuring the Add to Cart workflow for a SalesStore, you select a SalesDoc template as the endpoint of the workflow.
For example:
Online Order
Team Store Order
Merchandise Order
When a customer completes checkout, Hoops creates a SalesDoc using that template.
Because of this, one easy way to view SalesStore orders is to filter the Document Type column.
Example
If your SalesStore uses a SalesDoc template called:
Online Order
You can filter the Document Type column to show:
Online Order
This will display all SalesDocs created using that template.
This means the filter may not always isolate a single SalesStore.
Filtering by the SalesDoc type is quick and easy, however it may also show:
Orders from multiple SalesStores
Other SalesDocs using the same template
Method 2: Filter by SalesStore Number
The most accurate way to view orders from a specific SalesStore is to filter using the SalesStore Number column.
Every SalesStore has its own SalesDoc number.
For example:
SalesStore #16
When a customer completes checkout through that SalesStore, Hoops automatically records:
The new SalesDoc number
The originating SalesStore number
This allows Hoops to track exactly which SalesStore created each order.
Understanding the Difference Between SalesDoc Number and SalesStore Number
When an order is created:
The SalesDoc number increments normally alongside your other SalesDocs
The SalesStore Number identifies which SalesStore created the order
For example:
SalesDoc Number | SalesStore Number |
245 | 16 |
246 | 16 |
247 | 16 |
In this example:
Orders 245, 246, and 247 were all created from SalesStore #16
Important Behavior
When filtering by SalesStore Number:
The SalesStore itself will not appear in the filtered results
Only SalesDocs created from that SalesStore are shown
This is because:
The SalesStore is SalesStore #16
It was not created from SalesStore #16
Only spawned SalesDocs contain the originating SalesStore Number reference.
Recommended Use Cases
Filtering by SalesStore Number is especially useful for:
Team stores
School merchandise programs
Corporate apparel stores
Event stores
Seasonal campaigns
Multi-store management
This allows you to isolate and manage orders from each SalesStore independently.
💡 Pro Tip: Save Views
Save Views for each merch program you're running. This way you can see all orders from each store in a single click.
