Views in Hoops allow teams to save customized board layouts on the SalesBoard and JobBoard for quick access to the SalesDocs or Jobs most relevant to their workflow.
By combining Filters with Show/Hide Columns, teams can create focused board layouts that reduce clutter, minimize scrolling, and display only the information needed for a specific process or department.
Views help streamline day-to-day operations by removing the need to repeatedly rebuild filters or reorganize board layouts.
Create Filtered Views
Views are commonly created by first applying Filters to a board.
This allows teams to display only the SalesDocs or Jobs matching specific criteria.
Once filtered, the board layout can be saved as a reusable View for quick future access.
Each View can be renamed to clearly identify its purpose or workflow. Using clear naming conventions makes it easier for teams to switch between workflows and locate the correct board setup quickly.
Reduce Clutter with Show/Hide Columns
Views can be further improved using Show/Hide Columns to remove unnecessary information from the board.
This creates a cleaner workspace by displaying only the columns relevant to that view/workflow, reducing the need to scroll across large boards.
Column visibility can be used independently or combined with Filters to create highly focused Views.
Save Changes to Existing or New Views
As workflows evolve, Filters and visible Columns can be adjusted at any time.
When an adjustment is made to a board, changes can then be:
Saved back to the existing View
Saved as a completely new View
For example, a Home View will display all records and columns, while a filtered View may display only Accepted SalesDocs with a simplified board layout. Unneeded Views can also be Deleted.
