Connecting your Hoops account to SAGE allows you to search and add Sage products directly into your SalesDocs, SalesStores and SalesPresentations. Once connected, your Sage catalog becomes available inside Hoops, making it easy to build quotes using live supplier products without needing to manually enter item information.
Connecting Your SAGE Account
To get started, open Settings > Integrations in Hoops and select the SAGE integration.
Hoops requires the below credentials to complete the connection:
Your Account Number
Your Login ID
Your Authentication Key
To find these credentials follow the following steps:
Step 1 - Log in to your SAGE account
The Sage integration requires API access through a SAGE Total Access License. If your account does not currently include this, you'll need to contact Sage to have it enabled.
Step 2 - Navigate to SAGE Connect
In the main menu, click Developer APIs and then SAGE Connect.

Within Sage Connect, you’ll need to enable the required API permissions used by Hoops:
Research List
Product Search
Basic Product Detail
Full Product Detail
Each section will initially display an Enable button. Click this button for each section highlighted below.
Step 3 - Locate Your Account Number
Your account number can typically be found in the top-right corner of the Sage interface.
Step 4 - Locate Your Login ID & Authentication Key
The Login ID and Authentication Key are available under the Users section within Developer APIs > Sage Connect.
In the main menu click Developer APIs > SAGE Connect, then in the tabs, click Users

Step 5 - Enter these details into Hoops
Go back to the Hoops SAGE integration screen and enter the details required.

Step 6 - Test Your Credentials & Complete the Connection
Click Test Credentials.
If the connection is successful, click Connect to complete the setup. If the connection fails, please check the SAGE Troubleshooting guide.
⚠️ If the connection fails, first confirm that all required API permissions in SAGE Connect have been enabled. See Step 2.
What Happens Next
Once connected, Sage products become available directly within your SalesDocs and SalesPresentations. When adding products, you'll see a SAGE option that allows you to search the SAGE catalog without leaving Hoops.
This integration gives you access to Sage’s extensive promotional product database while still using Hoops’ quoting, presentation, and workflow tools.
