If your supplier has recently moved you to a new pricing tier (for example, from Chrome to Platinum), you may notice that your pricing in Hoops doesn’t reflect this change yet.
This is expected - and easy to fix.
Why this happens
Supplier pricing tiers are managed directly by the supplier and are not automatically synced into Hoops.
This means:
Your supplier may update your tier based on your spend or agreement
Hoops is not notified of this change
Your catalog continues to show your previous pricing tier until updated
What you need to do
To update your pricing tier in Hoops, simply raise a Catalog ticket with our team.
Include the following details:
The supplier name
Your new pricing tier (e.g. Platinum, Gold, etc.)
Any confirmation or context (optional, but helpful)
Once we have this, we’ll update your pricing tier in the catalog.
How long does it take?
These updates are typically very fast.
In most cases, your pricing will be corrected shortly after the request is received.
What happens after the update?
Once your pricing tier is updated:
Your catalog will reflect the correct pricing moving forward
Any new SalesDocs will use the updated pricing
Note:
Existing SalesDocs (Quotes, Jobs, etc.) will not automatically update, as they are a snapshot of pricing at the time they were created.
Do I need to do this every time my tier changes?
Yes — anytime your supplier updates your pricing tier, you’ll need to let us know so we can apply the change in Hoops.
Still unsure?
If you're not completely sure what your new tier is, or something doesn’t look right, feel free to reach out to support and we’ll help you confirm and update it.
