To add decorations to your Hoops Catalog, click on Catalog in the main menu. Let's look at the steps:

Go to the Catalog section in Hoops.
From here click Add to Catalog → Add Decoration

This will open the form where you can create a new decoration.

Enter a Decoration Name that clearly describes the decoration. For Example:

Use a name that is descriptive enough to find using a text search. Also remember that the decoration name is usually displayed to your customer so make it easy to understand for them too!

Then select a Category to help organize your decorations, this has a huge benefit on your JobBoard and SalesBoard later too. Read this article about Decoration Categories to learn more.

If this decoration is completed by an external supplier, select a Vendor.

Setting a vendor allows Hoops to automatically generate Purchase Orders when this decoration is used, saving time and reducing manual steps.

If there is a one-time cost associated with this decoration (e.g. screen setup or embroidery digitizing), you can enter a Setup Cost.

This ensures these costs are included accurately in your pricing and workflows.

Add your pricing structure for the decoration. You can add as many Price Breaks as required for this decoration. To add price breaks, click Add Another Price Break at the bottom of the list.

For example:

For every price break that is added, the price is required. If you would like to remove the price break, click the Trash icon for that row.

To create this decoration, click Save.

If you navigate to the Decorations tab, I can now see this new decoration that has been created.

If you need to further Edit a decoration to update pricing, you can do this by clicking on Actions Edit to go back to the Edit the Update Decorations section, where you can apply your changes and then click Save.

Try importing decorations, which also speeds up future updates.
