Collaborate with Comments

Learn how to use comments to collaborate with your team. Share updates, ask questions, provide instructions, and keep important conversations connected to the work they relate to.

Hoops includes built-in commenting tools that help teams collaborate directly within the JobBoard. Comments keep communication connected to the specific Job being worked on, making it easier to track updates, ask questions, share instructions, and maintain visibility across the production workflow.

By centralizing communication within the Job, teams can reduce missed information and avoid relying on external messaging platforms or disconnected email chains.


Collaborate Using Comments

Comments are managed from the Comments tab within each Job card.

Team members can leave updates, ask questions, provide production notes, or communicate important job-related information directly against the Job record.

All comments remain attached to the Job, creating a visible communication history that can be referenced by the entire team.


Tag Team Members with @ Mentions

Hoops also supports @ mentions, allowing users to tag specific colleagues directly within a comment.

Once tagged, the selected team member receives an email notification informing them that they were mentioned and that a new comment has been added to the Job.
