Manage SalesDoc Header Details

Learn how to customize the information displayed in your SalesDoc header, including branding, deadlines, references, and document ownership. Control what customers see while keeping important internal information available to your team.

You can control what your customer sees on your SalesDoc by managing the header details.

This allows you to tailor branding, deadlines, and references—keeping your SalesDocs clear, relevant, and professional.


Step-by-Step: Edit Header Details

Step 1: Open Header Toolbox

Click the header section in the preview on the left side of the SalesDoc to open the Document Details and Header toolbox.

Step 2: Review Company Details

In the header toolbox, you’ll see your company details.

  • If you have the Multi-Company add-on, you can select alternative branding

  • This overrides your default logo and company information for this SalesDoc

Step 3: Set Details and Control Visibility

Configure the key fields for this SalesDoc:

  • Deadline – Set a response date and choose whether to show it to the customer

  • Reference – Add a PO number or internal note, and choose if it’s customer-facing

If you regularly use the same header setup (e.g. showing references, hiding deadlines), save it to your SalesDoc templates. This keeps your team consistent and speeds up creation.
