SalesPresentations are commonly used to present multiple products, concepts, or pricing options to a customer before moving into the sales process.
Once your customer has decided which products and quantities they would like, the SalesPresentation can be converted into a SalesDoc.
A Quote is one type of SalesDoc, but you may also have other SalesDoc templates available such as:
Invoice
Proposal
Sales Order
Custom document types
If your account includes the SalesStore Add-on, customers can also self-convert a SalesPresentation into a SalesDoc using the Add to Cart workflow.
Step 1: Locate the SalesPresentation
From your SalesBoard, locate the SalesPresentation you would like to convert.
Step 2: Start the Conversion
Click Actions and select Convert to SalesDoc
Step 3: Select a SalesDoc Template
Choose the SalesDoc template you would like to use for the conversion.
Depending on your account setup, you may have one or multiple templates available.
For example:
Quote
Invoice
Proposal
Step 4: Select Products and Quantities
Review all products included within the SalesPresentation.
A typical SalesPresentation may contain:
Multiple product ideas
Multiple color or style options
Several quantity price breaks for each product

You are selecting which products and quantities the customer would actually like to move forward with.
For each product, enter the desired quantity.
Only products with quantities entered will be included in the final SalesDoc.
Products left blank or set to zero quantity will not be included.
Example
A SalesPresentation may contain:
8 different products
Multiple pricing tiers for each product
The customer may only choose:
2 of those products
One specific quantity for each selected product
During conversion:
Only the selected products will be included
Only the selected quantity break for each product will be carried into the SalesDoc
This allows SalesPresentations to function as a flexible product selection and discovery experience before generating a finalized SalesDoc.
Step 5: Complete the Conversion
Click the Convert to {SalesDoc Name} button to generate the SalesDoc.
The button will be shown as: Convert to {SalesDoc Name}
For example:
Convert to Quote - Default
Convert to Invoice
The SalesPresentation will now be converted into the selected SalesDoc type.
You can then continue working with the SalesDoc as normal.
BackTrack and Version History
SalesPresentations support the BackTrack feature, allowing you to review and restore previous versions of the document.
This is useful if:
You would like to see all of the products that were originally on the SalesPresentation, or would like to revert to that version of the document.
You can restore a previous version and repeat the conversion process if needed.
