Decoration categories are a small detail that unlock powerful workflows in Hoops - especially when it comes to filtering, and managing production.
Access Your Decoration Categories
To view your existing categories:
Go to Catalog
Click the Decorations tab
Here you’ll see all decorations along with the categories they belong to.
Creating and Managing Categories
When Importing Decorations
Decoration categories can be created and managed during the import process.
As new categories are included in your spreadsheet, they will automatically be created in Hoops.

Go to:
Catalog → Add to Catalog → Add Decoration
As you type a category name, Hoops will suggest existing categories. This helps you:
Keep naming consistent
Avoid duplicates
Maintain clean data
Important: Avoid Duplicate Categories
Categories are case-sensitive.
For example:
Screenandscreenwill be treated as two different categories
To keep your data clean:
Use consistent spelling and capitalization
Reuse existing categories wherever possible

You can filter by decoration category to quickly find relevant Jobs or Sales.

Show all Jobs that include Screen Printing

The Decoration Category is automatically applied
The Decorations column is populated
