Step 5: Enter Quantity
If your know the variant breakdown (such as size or color), enter the quantity for each Color/Size.
If you do not yet know the exact variant breakdown, you can simply enter a total quantity here. The buy price may show up as highlighted red, this is because the product selected has different pricing for variants and Hoops will return an averaged buy price until the Size/Color is known. Override Pricing
If required, you can manually override the buy price or the unit price.
Overriding the buy price is often done if you have negotiated a special deal with your supplier. Your input buy price will be retained all the way through to your purchase order.
Overriding the unit price is often done when the calculated price is not the perfect customer-facing price. Eg. overriding $16.13 to $16.95 which is a 'prettier' price for the customer.
You can also:
Lock the unit price to prevent recalculation
Unlock it later if changes are needed
Clone or Remove Variant Rows

Clone it
Remove it
Cloning is especially useful when building size breakdowns quickly.
